Terms of service, kept readable
This page governs how you use the site and the moving services Apartment Movers Atlanta provides across the city and its suburbs. Plain wording was the goal. Ask for a quote or book a move, and you’re accepting what’s set out here.
The price, in writing
A binding estimate doesn’t go out without a signature — Priya or I sign the printed sheet ourselves. The figure on that signed sheet is the figure you pay, and only three things move it: extra items added to the list, an added stop, or a date change after the truck’s reserved. Any of those, and a fresh number is written down before a box is touched. No meter creeping up, no surprise fees.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- Three days out or more — the deposit is refunded in full.
- Between one and three days — it converts to a credit good on any move within the year.
- Under 24 hours — we keep the deposit, having already turned away other work to hold your slot.
Coverage and liability
Every job includes the federal released-value floor — $0.60 per pound, per article — at no charge. Got something high-value? Tell us before move day and we layer on full-value protection that can cover a shipment up to $1,000,000. The claim window runs nine months from the move date.
What the truck won’t carry
Federal rules and plain sense keep some items off the truck: gasoline and propane, fireworks, loaded firearms, perishables, houseplants across state lines, and cash or jewelry. Pack those yourself and keep them in your car.
Getting the truck to the door
At both ends, clearing a path for the truck near the entrance is on you — or flag it in advance when a downtown dock or reserved freight elevator is the only option, and we’ll bring a shuttle. Heat and summer thunderstorms we work around for free. Metered or permit parking on cramped Midtown or Inman Park streets falls to you unless we’ve agreed otherwise on paper.
